Don’t believe all these performance reports on the best anti-virus or anti-malware, this stuff changes daily as threats change daily. In our experience, over the past few years, the best products are in many cases, free: Malwarebytes, Sophos, Webroot. There are some tricks to using these and a couple others in serious cases.
